The Reading Challenge is going strong!!! This week we have a tie between 2-3 and 4-5! Both grade groups had 65 chain links each!

Today we are starting a READING CHALLENGE!! The contest starts today and ends on May 15th. We will be making a chain down the commons hall and back! K-3 can earn a chain link for reading for 20 minutes and 4-12 earn a chain link by reading for 30 minutes. IF they report to a parent or guardian what they read during that time, and the parent writes that on their reading log, they will earn TWO chain links!! What will happen if the chain goes down the hall, across the short ceiling and back down the hall to the starting bulletin board??? Ms Pate will have to wear a duck costume to school on May 15th, and the winning class group will get to dump buckets of cold water on her!! That winning class will also get a pizza party!!! IF the chain goes longer than the stated goal, the WHOLE school will get a pizza party!! Let's get reading!! This is going to be fun!!!
