Yakutat Student Council consists of the executive board (above) and two representatives from each high school class and one representative from each junior high class. The responsibilities for the Student Council are to promote a positive school atmosphere through activities and other projects.

Some big projects for this year, are a class competition and canned food drive as well as a resolution to change the schools eligibility policy concerning drugs and alcohol.
